Diablo 4’s newest season – named Season of the Infernal Hordes – is officially live in all regions.

It is likely that this season will run shorter than others, with the Vessel of Hatred expansion releasing on October 8th; we can expect this season to last right at 2 months, finishing days before the expansion drops.

What is new in Season 5?

• The seasonal questline will introduce Infernal Hordes which will spawn in waves, creating a “Survival” game mode, with special rewards based on waves completed.
• All Unique items have been completely reworked to fit the updated Loot Reborn patch, which was released back in May.
• New hellish cosmetics available via the Battle Pass.
• As always, there are a slew of class, ability, and item changes included in the seasonal patch, which can be viewed in Blizzard’s changelog for the season.
